This oil or wax burner is made of two separate parts, so its easy to clean your oil blend from the top.
Thrown by hand on a potters wheel by Lianne of Studio LP Ceramics from British stoneware clay, then glazed in a silky eggshell marshmallow white glaze. This one has to be felt in person to truly appreciate the glaze detail. These have an opening for the tea light and three holes on the opposite side to allow for air flow to your candle.
The shape of the burner is inspired by a flower bud opening, but its a little tricky to throw so each piece is unique and slightly different, part of what makes handmade so special.
Once lit, do not pick up the ceramic piece as it will be very hot. Blow the candle out and wait until the burner is cool to touch to remove the top. Do not move the burner with the candle lit. It is not recommended to burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. The top is dishwasher safe so you can give it a thorough clean.
